Job Description
A KFC team member leads the customers to their tables and ensures that they are seated comfortably. He or she also serves them food, soft drinks, and other beverages. The food is served by him or her in a timely manner so that it reaches the customers hot and fresh. The team member also assists the customers in placing their orders. The team members’ performance is evaluated against the set targets for customer satisfaction and average time taken to serve each customer.
They also maintain operational and maintenance tasks like collecting garbage from the surrounding area, cleaning and repairing customer’s tables, restrooms, and kitchen facilities. In case of emergency, a KFC team member is responsible for taking care of customer’s needs.

To succeed in this field you will have to be able to deal with customers the right way, have excellent communication skills, be punctual and presentable. Lacking in any of these attributes will surely affect your performance in the job.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer loyalty by offering high-quality food and beverages, prompt service, and outstanding hospitality
- Prepare and cook chicken, sides, desserts and other menu items according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and keep the restaurant maintained in a clean condition
- Collect payment for orders from customers on proper credit basis
- Ensure that the entire team is aware of all the day’s activities, such as new products and processes
- Operate cash registers and other necessary equipment to process orders, provide change.
- Perform duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills are a must to succeed in this field. You will be interacting with customers on a regular basis. You must have a good command over English, especially dealing with foreign customers. Reading speed, comprehension, and good eye-hand coordination are also needed to perform this job well. Persistent effort and hard work with self-motivation will help you succeed in this job. While the employers value employees with good interpersonal skills, it is important to be self-reliant and able to work well on your own.
